Who is behind Instrukt?
Instrukt is a trading name of JG Core Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (number 16218779). It is run by Joshua Giles, who looks after operations. Instrukt introduces businesses to independent SRA-regulated solicitors and makes practice software for solicitors. It is not a law firm and doesn't give legal advice.
Why Instrukt exists
A commercial lease is drafted by the landlord's solicitor, for the landlord, and a small business can sign one without a solicitor of its own ever reading it. Instrukt makes it simple to get one: tell us about the lease, and we introduce you to an independent property solicitor who quotes before any work starts.
On the other side, property solicitors and small firms need software that runs a lease or conveyancing file without a long contract. Instrukt builds that too, so the solicitors we introduce clients to can run the work in one place.
How Instrukt makes money
- Software subscriptions from solicitors' firms, at the prices on our pricing page.
- Introduction fees, only where one is agreed in writing with the solicitor and disclosed to you before you instruct them, as the SRA Code of Conduct requires. Details are in how we work and how we're paid.
Clients don't pay Instrukt. You pay the solicitor directly, under their own terms. Instrukt never holds client money.
Who runs it
Instrukt is run by Joshua Giles, who looks after its operations, including the enquiries that come in. The legal work is done by the independent solicitors you instruct, who are responsible for their own advice.
